We planted pine trees last spring we got from Arbor Foundation. I would like to give some fertilizer, but not sure what kind or even we should or not. They didn't grow much last year they are still about 6-8 inches tall.

Your new little trees will grow large once the root systems are established. Feed them with a diluted liquid fertilizer (such as Miracle Gro or Peter's), pouring just a cupful of the diluted fertilizer mix around each little sapling. You should see some growth this year. Enjoy your landscape!
