Hibiscus trees - Knowledgebase Question

I have two 4 ft hibiscus trees one has nice green leaves and lots of them, the other few leaves not so green and not so big. Both trees same age, both from homedepot; they are 16 mon. old.

There's something different in the growing sites. Soil, exposure to sun, fertility, etc. You can try feeding the puny plant and pruning it back to encourage new growth. Both actions should prompt healthy new growth.
