| I just rerooted several baby hostas. And they get most of the day sun til around 2:00 or 3:00. Do they need a lot of sun and watering? I love to plant as a hobby, but really new at it and trying to learn. Thank you for all the help. Have a wonderful summer. |
| Although there are a few hostas that tolerate sun, as a rule hostas are shade plants. They love moist soil and are perfectly at home in a woodland garden. Until you know for sure what variety of hostas you're growing, why not move them into a shadier site? That way you won't lose them to the hot summer sunshine before you can determine whether or not they will thrive in the sun. Best wishes with your new hobby. |
