Herbs do best in full sunshine, in rich, well draining soils. All thrive in planters or containers so if you want to harvest herbs for kitchen use, be sure to plant your herbs where you'll have easy access - right outside the kitchen door, if possible. It's important not to let your herbs flower (if they do they'll set seeds and die) so harvest them often or shear the plants back in mid-summer so they'll put out healthy new growth.

Enjoy your herb garden!
