Is star jasmine an evergreen vine? How tall will it grow and does it become unmanageable? We're thinking of planting it along our fence to help provide privacy. Will it encroach much on our neighbors?

Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) is an evergreen vining plant and it's very well behaved so I don't think there will be a problem with it invading your neighbors landscape. It isn't aggressive the way ivy can be.

It can grow about 10' and if you prune it back occasionally it will be well behaved.

Best wishes with your garden.
