What canI plant in the beginning of the Summer?

You can plant a variety of heat tolerant flowers and vegetables. Some of the more common summer flowering perennials include cosmos, salvia, purple cone flower; annuals include sunflowers and petunias. There are lots of other options in your local garden center.
