I'm new to the fruit tree world. Our new house has 3 apple trees and I just bought a peach tree. What do I do to take care of these trees? I need to know what to do as far as spraying and producing healthy fruit. The apple trees have allready flowered. I'm going to transplant the peach tree this week. It has no leaves yet. How long until it will produce fruit? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!

The brief answer is that fruit trees need lots of sunshine and lots of water. With that said, proper pruning, fruit thinning and fertilization will keep your apple trees productive and preventative spraying will keep them healthy. Here's a website with tons of information (probably more than you ever wanted to know) about growing apples: http://learningstore.uwex.edu/...

Within the 28 pages of this apple growing guide, you'll be guided through all the important aspects of successfully growing apples in your own backyard.

Best wishes with your trees!
