I HAVE WHAT THEY CALL A MONKEY PLANT AND ITS NOT DOING WELL I HAVE IT IN THE SUN WHEN THE SUN SHINES AND I WATER IT EVERY OTHER DAY CAN YOU TELL ME HOW IM SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF IT THANK YOU |
Ruellia makoyana, or monkey plant, grows best in full sunshine. I think you're overwatering your plant. It does best in well draining potting soil and should be thoroughly moistened, then allowed to dry out between waterings. Instead of watering every other day, soak the soil then wait 7-10 days before watering again. Your plant should perk up in a few weeks. Best wishes with your monkey plant! |
