I live in zone 10,Miami Beach and have several corms I forgot to plant in early May. Anemone De Caen, Ranunculus(Persian Buttercup) and Large Flowering Gladioli about 10 of each. Is it too late to plant them in containers. I live in a Warm & Humid Bayfront Island that can get windy if too breezy although that's pretty much over since our summer like weather already began. There's a huge tree in the back patio , so there's plenty of dappled shade if needed. there are also areas w/ plenty of sun. Where I wish to put the pot it gets at least 4 hrs of sun and protection. Can I still plant my flowers? And if I have to wait till fall will they flower then? My small apt. is quite cool. Thank you !

I'd plant the bulbs now. It isn't too late. They will grow well in morning sun and afternoon shade so the site you've chosen to put the pot sounds just fine.

Enjoy your flowers!
