I bought a pack of nasturtium seeds and planted them in a 10 inch pot about 1 1/2 months ago. I got lots of foliage but no blooms yet. I used miracle gro once when I watered it. My mother told me it may not be blooming because I put too many seeds in the pot, so when it started getting root bound I split them and planted them in the flower bed. Is there a possibility that they may still bloom? Could the fertilizer have affected the flower blooming, or is it too early?? I'm in Northern Ky.

It sounds to me as though you've done everything right. Nasturtiums flower best in full sunshine and should flower as soon as the weather is warm enough to suit them. Surely they will bloom by late-June.

Enjoy!
