| I want to plant shrubs/small trees for privacy. Looking for something 10-15 feet high, preferably more columnar than round, with medium to fast growth. They will be planted next to a fence so they're protected and will get 6-7 hrs of sun. Suggestions? |
| I'd recommend either Thuja 'pyramidalis', an upright, narrow evergreen often used as a privacy hedge, or Juniperus chinensis x ?Hetzii Columnaris? (Hetz Green Columnar Juniper), a medium growing columnar evergreen. It likes sun and acid soil. Grows 10-12 ft, spreads 2-4 ft. Hope one of these suggestions appeals to you. |
