The Q&A Archives: Wisteria

Question: I live in Las Vegas,NV.I have grown wisterias for 3 years, the leaves grow very nice the plants get very tall, but about July the leaves get light yellow, with brownish edges and it has never bloomed.I use a product called super bloom because garden expert said to,but no flowers. What can I do?

Answer: Using a super bloom (something low in nitrogen) should help your plant perform well. However, the biggest complaint I hear about wisteria is that it takes sometimes up to 7 years to become established and to bloom. So, patience might be all you need to exercise at this point.
