| My crocus bulbs have been blooming for the last 10-12 years until this year. They did sprout in the spring but very few blossoms. Should I dig them up and divide them after the top growth has died off? |
| Most bulbs will stop blooming if they are over-crowded. With too much competition for moisture and nutrients, many will die off. I'd dig and divide them as soon as the foliage dies down. Give each of them 3-4 inches of space and they should bloom beautifully for you next spring. |
