I have planted this gorgeous sandwort in an area with full sun; I am keeping it well watered and it looks very healthy...even has unopened blooms all over it. But they won't open. Can you also send more information about this plant?

Arenaria montana sandwort is perfect for rock gardens as it loves the sunshine. It usually flowers from early through mid-summer. I suspect your extended winter weather has set your plants back a bit. As soon as air temperatures and soil temperatures are more summerlike, your sandwort should open those flower buds.

Enjoy!
