lizards are diging in my newly planted flowers they are killing them how can i protect them. |
Cindy, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. It is very unusual for lizards to be damaging plants. Their diet is primarily bugs and they are considered beneficial creatures to have in the garden. I suppose in a container where the roots are very confined some digging could be damaging otherwise I would look elsewhere for the cause of the plant's problems. I am not aware of a product to keep lizards out of a garden. Perhaps there are some things that would repel the lizards, such as mothballs scattered about. It's just an idea. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
