| Jannell, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. There is no particular type of fertilizer for butterfly bushes. I find that regular lawn fertilizer works just fine. Sprinkle a half cup evenly throughout a 6 foot diameter area around each bush and then water it in well. Thanks for the question.
