Answer: I would replant the bulbs as soon as possible. They may not flower for you next spring if the leaves didn't die down on their own (the leaves transport energy back into the bulb for the next year's floral display). If the leaves did die down on their own, they should flower for you next spring. In either case, go ahead and plant them back into the ground now.
