i dug up several tulip bulbs this week. They bloomed beautifully this spring but the squirrels usually dig them up before next spring. what can i do with the bulbs until i plant them in the fall?

Store your bulbs in a cool place (under 75F). If you have a closet or someplace indoors to keep them, that would be best. Next best would be in a garage. Plant them outdoors in late September or early October.
