I purchased 2 spearmint Juniper's and planted them on each side of my driveway near the garage door. After one month, one of them is browning from the bottom up. I pulled them both out of the ground. I tried to put them in a planter and they tipped. My question is should I put them back in the ground or what size planter do I need. They are 6ft in height. Thanks! |
The best sized container for tall plants such as your junipers is one that is at least one third as high as the plant. So, for a 6' juniper, use one that is at least 2' tall and wide. You can go taller - up to 3' and still have the plant look natural in the container. Best wishes with your junipers! |
