The Q&A Archives: tomatoes

Question: I am new to gardening and planted some roma tomatoes. There is one tomato starting to grow on one plant. When will they start to really produce?

Answer: Roma or plum tomatoes are usually ready to harvest in 70-75 days from planting the seeds. So if you bought your plants they are probably at least 30-35 days old. That means you should be getting lots of tomatoes towards the end of July and on through August. Enjoy!
