I have a lily bulb that I haven't planted yet. I planted a Dahlia bulb that is growing but hasn't yet bloomed. There is a bud on the end of about a 12

It is a little late to plant your lily bulb but if you don't plant it, it will die. So plant it near your dahlia and expect it to send out a leafy stalk, but it probably won't bloom this year. That's okay - it will be storing energy for next spring's floral display. Enjoy!
