The Q&A Archives: Strawberry runners

Question: Can I replant the strawberry runner (daughters)?

Answer: Absolutely you can plant them. That's how strawberry plants renew themselves. If the runner touches the soil it will root and produce leaves. Allow them to do this then clip the runner close to the new leaves, dig up the baby plant and replant it wherever you'd like in your yard (providing it's a sunny spot!)

Best wishes with your strawberries.
