My neighbor waters everyday rain or shine, therefore I havea spot that stays very wet. What can I plant there that will flower and likes it feet wet? |
Barbara, Some plants for soggy areas include those we refer to as bog or marginal plants that grow on the edge of a pond. Non flowering plants include umbrella sedge (Cyperus), elephant ear, taro, buttonbush (not very show flowers), and various types of willow trees are among the choices for wet areas in your part of the state. However for flowering the list includes: cannas, pickerel weed, spider lily, Louisiana iris, and Texas star hibiscus. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
