The Q&A Archives: Yellow spots on leaves - Citrus

Question: Bought a Tangerine tree at HD in Miami, Fl. Presently its showing yellow spots in its leaves. Could it be too much water? or lack of a nutrient? Tank you

Answer: Manuel,

It is most likely a nutrient issue. Use a soluble plant food such as Miracle Gro at the label rate for a while. Put the tree in plenty of sunlight and water well but then allow it to dry out a bit before watering again. In other words, don't keep the soil too soggy wet. This should help get it back healthy and green again soon.
