I just found dahlia bulbs I forgot to plant in the spring. can I plant them now?

Unfortunately the dahlia tubers are not likely to survive until next spring without being planted, so your best bet is to plant them now. They may produce some flowers before cold weather hits and they die back. They will then need to be lifted and stored for the winter.
