| I can't tell from your description what the insect might be but if you've only found one, I think it is probably just a transient - resting for a while or hiding from a predator. If it is still there a day later, capture it in a jar or plastic baggie so you can take it into a well staffed nursery for identification. I place my captured insects in the freezer for a few hours so they are easier to handle and inspect. Be sure to label it if you do!! |
