Can Lily of the Valley grow in Palm Springs Ca? And if so when will they come up? Iris's grow there also?

You can plant both lily of the valley and irises in the desert. Both will need to be planted in the shade and both will need some well amended soils in order to grow well. Mix in lots of compost or aged-manure before planting to help the soil hold moisture.
