What are some vegetables I can grow in South Florida in the summer? I saw your 'Heatwave' tomatoes. I don't have much shade; I know "full sun" doesn't mean that in a South Florida summer.

Most vegetables that do well in North Florida in the summer should be planted in the fall in South Floirda.

Some vegetables that can be grown in your area are:
Okra-Feb-Mar
Sweet potatoes-Feb-June
Pumpkin- Jan-Feb

Accprding to the Florida Planting Guide for Vegetables by
J.M. Stephens, the above are the only summer vegetables
for South Florida, but all vegetables can be planted in the
fall in South Florida.
