I have some moon flower seeds. Will they grow in south Florida? |
Moonflowers (Ipomoea alba) should do very well in your area. Soak the seed from 12 to 24 hours before planting. You will need a fence or strong trellis for them to run on. They tend to grow vigorously. I have a neighbor that has them growingon a fence here in Jacksonville. They are covered with bloom. Moonflowers grow wild on many sand dunes in Florida, and are very easy to grow. |
