Blood Meal is a powerful source of nitrogen and has been used for years by organic gardeners as a natural, slow release source of nitrogen, plus trace minerals. You can broadcast blood meal over the entire garden or side-dress (sprinkle around the base of your plants) and allow the sprinklers to water it in. It won't burn your plants.
