Globe arborvitae will grow to a mature height of three to five feet and an equal mature spread. It is relatively fast growing, especially if you prune it back by a few inches. Pruning will encourage healthy new growth. You can feed your globe arborvitae with a slow release evergreen formulation such as an 8-8-8. Or, if yours is growing in a container, use a water soluable fertilizer such as Miracle Gro. Plants in containers are prone to root burn if you use granular fertilizers so use a liquid if yours is in a container.

Best wishes with your arborvitaes.
