Hello, my gardening zone is N. California Coastal & Inland valleys. I want to plant some vegetables in the late summer. I missed my window for summer crop. It is extremely hot here in Bakersfield. Some days are up to 110 degrees. I want to know what I can plant in September. It does not get too cold here till about January. I was thinking of trying Broccoli, lettuce, and some cucumbers. What else do you think I can grow? Any suggestions, tips and know how would be greatly appreciated. I am a beginner and so far have only grown Jalapeos and Serrano Chilis. Thank you I look forward to hearing a reply!!
