We purchased Two dwarf apple trees 2 years ago. The macintosh flowered and bore fruit the very first year. So far the Red delicious has not even flowered. It continues to grow and sprouts leaves. Is there something special we should be doing for the delicious apple tree?

Historically, red delicious apples won't flower or fruit until their third year. As long as it is putting out healthy new growth and it is getting all the sunshine and water it requires, it should bloom for you next spring. In the meantime, enjoy your MacIntosh!
