I am in the Columbia Gorge, zip code 98648. Is it too late to plant potatoes? Harvesting small ones would be OK with me.
Thank you!
Kate

It is pretty late in the season to be planting potatoes since the earliest take about 65 days and the russets can take 100 days to mature. However, if you plant early, cold tolerant types you should be able to harvest some before winter sets in. Best wishes with your potatoes!
