The Q&A Archives: double impatiens care and impatiens

Question: they are not blooming, leaves are green, a few are yellow.I've had them for about 2 months, they have been feed with a time released plant food. there are no signs of bugs in the soil. they get a little sun. what is a safe way to get them to bloom?

Answer: Impatiens simply won't bloom when it gets hot. There's not much you can do about it except wait for the weather to cool down. They like morning sun so an eastern exposure is best for them. Wish I had better news for you! Your plants are simply heat stressed.
