We planted Early Girl tomatoes this year. We have had a few ripen and the flesh seems to be soft. We analogize it to a watermelon that is soft on the inside that you may not want to eat. Do you have an idea what may be causing that?

If it seems grainy on the inside, it's overripe. Try harvesting a little sooner.
