cilantro - Knowledgebase Question

I have planted cilantro for two years now but I cant get it to grow like parsley it looks feathery, that is the only way I can explain it what am I doing wrong?

Carrie,

Plant cilantro in the fall. It will grow through the winter with nice parsley looking foliage. When the days begin to get longer in spring it "bolts" or sends up a bloom stalk and then the "feathery" foliage as you described it is produced.
