I plant red geraniums every year in sunny spot in various locations around the house. Everyyear they do fine. I water and feed them regularly, but this year those in the cement baskets are very

I suspect that those in cement baskets are showing signs of stress. If the cement is new and unsealed, it could be leaching lime into the root area. If the cement has been sealed and nothing is leaching, then I suspect the baskets are holding too much heat and are cooking the roots. Cement tends to absorb heat (where clay pots will reflect it) and a hot root zone can stress plants. Hope this information helps you determine just what might be going on with your geraniums!
