Question: I will like to know how to get rid of crab grass in my lawn. I have Kentucky blue grass.

Answer: You can control crabgrass in the early stages of growth by making two or three applications at seven to 10 day intervals, or as regrowth occurs. Crabgrass control products are usually applied in June or July. Tradenames include Dacthal or Tupersan.
