The Q&A Archives: Russian Sage

Question: I live in Ohio can I move Russian sage in the fall?

Answer: You can dig and move your Russian sage either in the spring or in the fall. Depending upon how large it is, you may want to wait until spring. At that time you can cut it back severely and replant. It might be easier to move when it's small!

Either way, be sure to water it in well after replanting.

Best wishes with your garden!
