Question: Why doesn't my trumpet vine, three years old, grow like the catalogs promise? It has growth, but only a couple of feet before frost. What can I do to make it speed up?

Answer: Trumpet Vine (Campsis radicans) generally is quite a vigorous grower, often growing to 30 feet! It does prefer rich soil and full sun, so if either of these is lacking, that could be the problem.
