I purchased lilly bulbs that should have been planted in the spring. can i plant them now for next year or do I have to store them untill next year?

Plant them as soon as possible. They probably won't flower for you this year but they will have a chance to grow and replenish their stored energy for next year's floral display. If you don't plant them now they will die so get them into the ground as quickly as possible.
