| You probably have a bromeliad, which is a member of the pineapple family. They make great houseplants and will flower if the conditions are right. They need bright light (east facing window) and well draining soil. Water until the soil is moist, then allow the top to dry slightly before watering again. Bromeliads like high humidity and warm temperatures (they are tropical plants) but don't like drafts from heaters/air conditioners. Hope yours blooms for you! |
