| I would like to know if a desert rose would be viable in Georgia. (I've just relocated here from very south florida and had lots of large potted desert roses i brought with me in the move but they all died this past winter) I am about 40 miles NW of Atlanta. The temperature here ranges from 98 to 12. I can never find the desaert rose sold at any gardening shop. Should i buy online and try it, maybe the move traumatized my south florida plants ? |
| Janet, Desert rose is fine as a container plant so you can bring it in for the freezing days of the year. It will freeze if you try to grow it in the ground outside. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
