I have a rubber tree planted in my yard. It is now about 6 ft tall. It was doing fine until last week.
I noticed holes in the leaves and I saw yellow caterpillars. I sprayed it with some insect spray that I was told to use by Home Depot.
How long will it take to kill these insects and how often do I have to spray it.

Ina,

If the spray is going to work they should be dead by later the same day or at least the next day. If the spray contained the natural ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis, it could take a day or two longer. Watch for the insects to return and then spray at the first sight of them rather than spraying on any type of schedule.
