Question: I am a beginner in gardening. Now that summer is almost over, what type of vegetables can I still plant?

Answer: You can plant a number of vegetables for fall harvest. Here are some suggestions:
Cabbage, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, both leaf and head, Mustard, Onion- both multiplier and bulbing sets, Parsnip, Rutabaga and spinach. You can also squeeze in a harvest of beans if you plant now.

Happy harvesting!
