The Q&A Archives: Pets and lawns

Question: hi i'm rosa and I got a new pet but he use to urine on my front lawn and ist making yellow spot on it.what can i do???? it's so bad for my flowers too????thanks.

Answer: If you can't keep your new pet off the lawn (find another place for him to relieve himself), the best thing to do to keep the lawn from turning yellow or brown is to hose the area off right away. Yes, pet urine can be bad for your flowers, too. So either keep your pet off the lawn and flower beds, or make sure you put a lot of water on the spots right after he goes.
