It might be difficult to find wildflowers in your local garden center this late in the growing season, but if you prepare the soil and sow seeds of wildflowers now, they'll pop up early next spring. For some ideas about native wildflowers in your region, check out the following website hosted by the Department of Natural Resources: http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/tab...

For even more wildflower ideas, a nature preserve in Cincinnati offers the following descriptive website:
http://www.cincinnatinature.or...

I think between the two sites you'll find tons of information and ideas for planting a wildflower garden.

Enjoy!
