I have three large overgrown(10 feet) and shapeless holly trees in in front of my house .I want to replace them with possibly an evergreen that will not need much care. What would you suggest?

You can prune your hollies into the shape you want (begin by reducing the plants by one-third; next spring reduce by one-third again), or you can replace them with arborvitae or thuja. I'd vote for renovating the hollies - removing their root systems might be a real task!
