Hello ! Please help me find information about how and when to trim an established peach tree (approximately 8 years old). Also, should it be fertilized? (when and in what amounts?) Thank you very much..... Antonietta Richardson

Antonietta,

The following web site will answer these and other questions about caring for a peach tree:

Fertilize with a lawn type fertilizer. Apply it to the entire area beneath the branch spread of the tree at a rate of 1-2 cups per inch of trunk diameter. Apply it in early spring at bud break and again about 2 months later.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
